How does X trend analysis work?
X trend analysis examines the use count of posts matching a clearly defined query over time.
What does it measure?
The canonical query is built deterministically from the main phrase, alternatives, exclusions, language, reply, and repost choices.
What does it not measure?
Post counts do not represent search behavior, buying intent, or the whole internet.
How can it be used?
- Compare trend direction with the previous equal period
- Review peak dates and volatility
- Choose reply and repost coverage explicitly
Every result is presented with its source, period, method, and limitations.
